Today I am pleased to announce that Kerry Jenkins will be promoted to Merchandise & Marketing Manager for Hanes.com effective on July 1. This promotion recognizes Kerry’s outstanding performance in her current role as Marketing Manager for Champion Outlet and Hanesbrands Outlets since joining DTC in 2008. Her retail experience, analytical skills, and creative talents position her well for success in the Hanes.com business.

Hanes.com is a major LRP growth initiative for the HBI Direct to Consumer business. The Hanes.com business growth will be fueled by great marketing plans as well as significant product expansion. The new Hanes Signature line of Sportswear for Men and Women will debut in Fall 2011.

Jackie Jeffers, Merchandise Manager of Hanes.com will focus on the Women’s business while Kerry will join the team and manage the Men’s business. Both Kerry and Jackie will report to me.
