Lucky Seven!

How fast time flies! We've had a great month and have discovered lots of new things! We were even able to make it out to the park a few times on slightly warmer days. We're definitely looking forward to warmer weather so we can cruise around in our jogging stroller! At seven months our sweet girl:

- Weighs 16lbs
- Says 'ba ba ba ba ba,' 'ma ma ma ma ma,' and 'ra ra ra ra ra'
- Will 'hum' really loud when you start singing to her. I think she's trying to sing along with you!
- We have this piece of wall art right above her high chair that says "Be Warm, Be Welcome, Be at Home." Every time we pick her up out of her highchair, she makes us read that to her a couple of times. She just laughs and squeals until we stop!
- Still loves to bounce. Not kidding...this girl can easily bounce for an hour straight
-Wears 6-9 month clothing
- Is almost crawling! She can get up on her hands and legs and rock back and forth.
- Can move from a sitting position to her tummy
- Still no teeth yet!
- Is getting great at scooting herself backwards while she's on her belly
- Likes to sleep with her butt up in the air
- She reaches for you when you go to pick her up
- She learned how to put her foot in her mouth a few months ago, but she's been doing it every chance she can! As soon as she pulls her socks off, in the foot goes!
- Is eating peas, carrots, sweet potatoes, squash and apples. We move onto pears next week!
- Has a favorite stuffed cow names Alfred. We call him "AL." She picked him out herself when we were walking around a store. She wouldn't let go of him, and he was only $5 so we bought it for her!
- Loves it when Colby licks her hands, but not her face. I'm not sure I would either!
- Still hates it when you try to hold her hands or push her arms through a sleeve
- Is still obsessed with lights
- When she touches something for the first time, she'll open and close her hands on top of it. Not sure why, but it's cute!
- Will flip her bottom lip with her fingers and make a 'bra bra bra' sound
- Still sucks the thumb
- Can turn her mobile on in her crib when it goes off
- Turns ALL OVER THE PLACE in her crib. I think she likes to surprise us with the different positions she gets herself in!
- Will hold her own bottle for a little bit
- Had mastered passing things back and forth between her hands
- Likes to play with the computer keys

I mean, really....Can this girl get any cuter?!
