Our Day in Pictures

I'm on a trip to Kansas City for work. Let's just say we didn't exactly plan the best time to visit. We blame our sales rep for convincing us not to cancel our trip! Let's just say that this storm is INSANE! The pictures below don't even begin to describe how furious it is! Winds are 35-40mph, snow is coming down in all directions, snow banks are HUGE (so huge, they are halfway up to our car door!), a frigid cold, and the entire area is under a state of emergency with several roads and main highways closed. The snowblowers can't even keep up with everything. It's been non-stop since about 6am this morning and it's still not done! We have about 13inches so far with more to come. We are planned to fly out tomorrow at 2pm, but I'm very doubtful we'll actually make it! Here's hoping we get back before the weekend!
